A few days ago we took the kids out to "hunt" for dinosaur tracks at Warner Valley (if you want to know more, go here, and there is even a map: http://www.blm.gov/ut/st/en/fo/st__george/more/heritage_resources/public_use_sites/warner_valley_dinosaur.html )
The kids thought it was pretty cool, for like 5 minutes, and then they were over it. We took the puppy, Vespa, and I'm fairly certain that she had a more enjoyable time than any of us! Well, I take that back. Vespa and Calum had the most enjoyable time. Calum will sit in his little pack on Cade's back all day, just chillin'. He loves it. I love being out of the house, hiking (or when you're with kids, I prefer to just call it "kicking up dirt", because there really is no hiking involved), and enjoying each others sillyness.

See, doesn't Vespa look thrilled? :)
So cute...I'm so glad your blogging again! I love reading your posts. :)
ReplyDeleteBahaha Vespa looks so cute in that picture. It's funny. The dinosaur prints are pretty cool, I am surprised your kids got bored, oh well. At least you got out of the house, right??! :)
ReplyDeleteThey were mostly just bored with the tracks. There were only a few that were visible to the kids eyes, so they didn't care after a few minutes. lol They still had fun running around in the dirt, up & down the wash, playing on the rocks..
